At PACE, one of our primary goals is to provide quality education to athletes and coaches. We offer a regular schedule of seminars and clinics by our staff, local experts and professional coaches. Topics range from tactics and strategies to mental skills training to strength and conditioning and so much more. Body Composition Analysis - $35
Measuring body composition is a much more accurate and relevant way to go about determining your optimal body weight. Weight alone can be a deceiving and frustrating measure by which to gauge our nutrition, training and performance goals. By using Lange skin-fold calipers to obtain your percentage of lean Vs fat mass in the lab, we provide an accurate, objective measure that you can utilize to track your progress and help determine what your focus needs to be on and off the bike to achieve our optimal level of health and performance. The complete test with calculations and discussion of results will take 30 minutes to complete.
Basal Metabolic Rate - $125
This assessment will reveal your basal metabolic rate. This is the amount of calories your body requires per day at rest. From this number, calculations will be performed for an accurate assessment of how many calories you utilize during your typical day. This amount is also broken down in types of calories; carbohydrate, fat, or protein. General strategies and recommendations for caloric diet changes also will be made. We can also provide this information to your doctor or nutritionist or connect you with the appropriate qualified professional to help you get the most out of the results provided.
